Major General Joseph J. Taluto (USA Ret) – President
Major General Taluto enlisted in the National Guard in 1965. In 1968 he took a job as a clerk typist at the New York National Guard Headquarters, an organization he would lead as a Major General some 38 years later. Taluto earned his Bachelor’s Degree while working his way through the ranks, serving at every level of the Army. He graduated from the US Army War College in 1995.

Herb Romanow – Treasurer
Herb Romanow, a Certified Public Accountant, was employed at Boca West Country Club, the # 1 residential country club in the U.S. and the # 1 country club in the state of Florida, from 1991-2010. He was the Assistant General Manager of Finance and Administration of the club. In this capacity Herb was involved with the accounting department, data processing, bank loans and interest negotiations, inventory control and legal matters. His position required that he work with the large and varied staff as well as outside auditors, accountants, and attorneys.

Gerald Goldberg – Director & Vice President, Marketing
As a 1959 graduate of Yale University, with a BS in Chemical Engineering, Gerry Goldberg’s career path led from Monsanto, to Glidden Company, to E. R. Squibb & Sons, and in 1976, to a 17-year career at Mane, U.S.A., a subsidiary of V. Mane Fils, S.A. He rapidly progressed from VP of Sales and Marketing, to Executive VP, to President of this French-based, privately-held manufacturer of fragrances, flavors and raw materials for the cosmetic, food and household markets.
JoAnne Goldberg – Director and member of the Marketing Committee
JoAnne Goldberg’s business career started with a degree in Medical Technology from Quinnipiac University, which she earned before marrying and starting a family. While raising two daughters, she worked − first part time and then full time − as Office Manager and Medical Technician for a medical doctor. After ten years she switched gears and joined a friend as co-owner of a Party Store.

Mark Llano – Director
Mark Llano is a native Floridian and grew up in Tampa, Florida. His family migrated from Cuba many years ago and opened the historic Salgado grocery store in Key West. Mark spent a majority of his career as an investment banker on Wall Street, with an extensive background in business development for both personal and corporate entities. Having served 5 years in the United States Marine Corps, Mr. Llano was called up for active duty during Desert Storm and was nominated (1% selection rate) to train FBI agents and elite military special operations units in hand-to-hand combat.
