Jerry Kramer, PresidentJerry Kramer, the founder and first president of Veterans’ Pathway to Business Success, was a combat Infantry Sergeant in the Korean War, who was awarded the Bronze Star V,* Purple Heart and Combat Infantry Badge. Yet, as he tells it, “I came home [in 1952] without a job, money or education.” Eventually Kramer found work selling cutlery door to door. Fortunately, behind one of those doors was the owner of a lumber company, who offered him a job. So Kramer set out on his own pathway to success. |

Major General Joseph J. Taluto (USA, Ret.), Vice PresidentMajor General Taluto enlisted in the National Guard in 1965. In 1968 he took a job as a clerk typist at the New York National Guard Headquarters, an organization he would lead as a Major General some 38 years later. Taluto earned his Bachelor’s Degree while working his way through the ranks, serving at every level of the Army. He graduated from the US Army War College in 1995. |

He rapidly progressed from VP of Sales and Marketing, to Executive VP, to President of this French-based, privately-held manufacturer of fragrances, flavors and raw materials for the cosmetic, food and household markets. |
